The site was created as a result of creators' personal interest in statistical data. Also being new in Toronto they needed to gather information about various aspects of life in the city. They believe their gatherings may become interesting to wider audience.
This site is an attempt to integrate geographical information about Toronto neighbourhoods with various statistical data, such as, school boundaries with The Fraser Institute school performance ratings, or median house prices by neighbourhood.
What information is available today:
- Toronto District School Board - Secondary Schools
- Toronto District School Board - Elementary Schools (many schools have no ratings yet)
- York Region District School Board - Secondary Schools
- Restaurant cuisines by postal code
- Median real estate prices for detached houses and condos by real estate area
The plan is to have different demographic data (education level, income, etc) by postal code.
